Slenky collaborated with Sony Professional, the British Film Institute, the National Lottery Fund and Creative Skillset to empower young people with an eye on the film industry to gain real industry skills by producing a short film - ‘Outsiders’.
The entire production team and cast was made up of young people determined to Take a Shot at entering and building a career in the industry.

Amongst other activities, Sony contributed by hosting a masterclass facilitated by veteran cinematographer Robin Vidgeon (Hellraiser, Raiders of the Lost Ark) and provided high-end PMW-F5 digital motion picture camera and UWP-D wireless microphones to capture the production.
Slenky and Sony also hosted a VIP premiere at Pinewood and a public premiere and reception for all participants and their families at Cineworld Canary Wharf.
