Sky News has created a fantastic opportunity for 'care experienced' young people to benefit from a fully paid six month internship working within their creative news team.

Developed in partnership between Sky Up, 25 Seven Talent Solutions and Spectra. This internship is in the name and memory of Azra, a young woman who worked for Sky News and died tragically in 2020.

Azra had a tough upbringing, but that helped her understand people’s lives. She cared about injustice and she had a natural way of communicating with people from all walks of life.

This opportunity isn’t just in her memory, it is also to help boost the media industry's effectiveness, because newsrooms don’t have enough Azras.
