Job Duties and Responsibilities (once qualified):
Being a Metroline bus driver requires a unique skill set, as you'll be driving a bus and looking after passengers professionally. As a qualified Driver, your main responsibility will be ensuring the safe transport of passengers on all Metroline’s bus routes.
Essential Requirements and information:
- Hold a full driver’s license with at least one year of UK driving experience.
- Hold a current PCV license & Drivers Qualification Card or be prepared to train for one.
- Applicants with 6 penalty points may be considered on an individual basis.
- Be prepared to work varying shift patterns, including rostered weekends and bank holidays.
Starting a career as a Metroline bus driver comes with numerous benefits and opportunities for growth. After getting your license through Metroline's exceptional training, you can earn anywhere from £28.1k to £36.2k in your first year alone, without any overtime.
*Salaries rise with length of service, reaching as much as £33.5k to £44.9k after five years. *If you already hold a PCV driving license when you join, your pay will depend on your experience.
